Serious Game Designers Heribert Thomas and Shahbaz Ahmed conducted a 1 Day Entrepreneurship Game Simulation Workshop – Bottomline at SXILL and Chandigarh Design School on 21 August 2023

There were 2 groups of attendees, the faculty and the students. Separate tables were set up for the attendee groups with rest of the students watching and learning. The groups were playing the game bottomline and taking business decisions, and earning/ losing money in the process. The simulation ran for about 4-5 hours with a lunch break in between. 

The excitement was palpable. And at the end the tables were won by Jasjeet Singh (Faculty Table) and Nikita Rawat (Student Table). In the end the groups learnt about the importance of collaboration planning during the simulation. Those who took unnecessary risks often found themselves at the wrong end of greed.

Vineet Raj Kapoor (Indian IDT Expert Worldskills, and Founder Chandigarh Design School) shared “I am happy that Heribert and Shahbaz took time to come and meet us and also share their invention with the students of SXILL and Chandigarh Design School.”

Heribert Thomas, the inventor of Bottomline said, “It was important for us to meet Vineet Raj Kapoor, as he is a widely respected figure in the field of Gamification. We wanted to get insights into our gameplay and tips for improvement. I must say that we were not disappointed as he was quick to understand the entire gameplay and give very relevant inputs to us.”
