Arena celebrates 7th International Animation Day

Arena Animation Academy sponsored the 7th IAD (International Animation Day) Function with ASIFA, Picasso and Frameboxx on 14 November, 2008 at the English Auditorium at Panjab University.

The event premiered select animation movies from around the world, and provided essential training sessions in “acting for animation” by Paresh Parekh, “sketching for animation” by Sushree Sunita Das, and “clay modeling” by Ganesha.

Students from all animation institutes took part in the workshop and contest held. Sunny, DAE student of Arena Animation Academy, Sector 17, won the first prize in Clay Modelling, Vivek Bhardwaj, AAASP student of Arena Animation Academy, Sector 17, won the first prize in Sketching competition. 

About 150 students and animation aficionados attended the workshop.
