Stoke Your Fires has been animating Stoke-on-Trent for the past three years, but it’s changing. Stoke Your Fires the Festival of Moving Image is expanding and will be bringing an array of exciting film, animation and digital media events to the Midlands in 2011.
Events will include a four day convention with amazing international speakers, 3 major exhibitions, premieres from local new talent and established artists, a 48-hour film challenge, exciting activities for all ages and the prestigious Stoke Your Fires Awards.

66 films from 32 countries were selected for the official competition: 30 in the TV Films category and 36 in the Commissioned Films category; celebrating 50 years, the festival runs June 21-27.
