The evaluation of board games took place on October 10, 2023, where a select group of jurors from around the world assessed the games presented by the event’s finalists.

The inception of the Serious Play Conference dates back to 2008, when Sue Bohle, a PR and marketing pioneer with a background in collaborating with renowned developers like Atari, Crystal Dynamics, ID, and Activision, was approached to promote an educational game for math learning. A former high school teacher, Bohle became captivated by the idea that the engaging elements of entertainment games could revolutionize education.
The event was expertly hosted by Sue Bohle and Jan Hanson, offering both Board Games and Digital Games tracks. Vineet Raj Kapoor served as a juror for both categories.
