1st Annual BEVERLY HILLS FILM, TV, AND NEW MEDIA FESTIVAL (BHFTV) (October 21 to 24, 2010), a festival that promises to be a true celebration of emerging technologies in film and television.

Bursting onto the scene and delivering four jam-packed days in world-famous Beverly Hills, BHFTV will present a selection of short- and long-form works that exhibit strong personal visions combined with the highest standards of creative excellence and technical achievement. The Festival aims to discover, showcase, and celebrate the work of today’s up-and-comers, established players, and tomorrow’s industry leaders.

BHFTV is especially interested in receiving submissions from artists, directors, and producers developing mobisodes, webisodes, web series, and 3-D projects, which will be presented alongside traditional narrative, documentary, and short films, as well as TV shows, pilots, and reality programs. All qualifying projects will be judged in their respective fields by a jury of industry executives and experts, with category finalists being viewed by distributors for possible online, theatrical, or broadcast distribution.

The Beverly Hills Film, TV, and New Media Festival seeks to provide a platform where content producers can showcase their work, increase opportunities for producers and maximize potential for distribution, marketing and industry recognition.

Festival finalists will each receive a first-look distribution deal along with an exclusive opportunity to meet one-on-one with an industry professional in their field. The Festival’s events include an Opening Night Gala and Awards Ceremony honoring industry luminaries at the Beverly Hilton’s 210 followed by three days of screenings at the Laemmle Music Hall Theatre in Beverly Hills.

BHFTV organizers want festival guests to be immersed in classic old-school Hollywood glamour, so finalists should expect antique chauffeured Bentleys and limousines to whisk them between red-carpet premieres and a whirlwind of industry cocktail soirees. Experience the glamour, opulence and networking opportunities that define Beverly Hills, a storied city that’s home to Hollywood’s true powerbrokers.
