Creative Hunt 2012, Chandigarh leg concluded successfully today at Khalsa College Chandigarh. This was a platform for 4 students of Arena Centre from states and UT to showcase their work. Out of the roughly 8-10 centres in the region, 4 centre’s work was shortlisted to be showcased. Out of those 104 selections, most entries belonged to Arena Amritsar followed by Arena Chandigarh 17 and then Arena Ludhiana. However, at the podium Arena Chandigarh 17 turned the tables by coming up Winners in 4 of the 7 categories.
Day and Night News Channel covered our Event Creative Hunt today. This is the first such Event being organized in Chandigarh that is the place to display the talent of Arena Centres of 4 states and the UT — namely, Himachal, J&K, Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh. It allows the students in the region to witness work of other centres and compare it to their work, thus allowing them to set higher targets. A shortlisting here takes the movie to the North India level comprising of Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, MP, UP and of course Delhi. Our (Arena 17) students went on to win maximum prizes by coming first in 4 out of 7 categories. 4 Cheers!!
